I just came across a painting from Paul Detlefsen and can't seem to find it anywhere on the net. It has redwood trees a stream and deers. At the bottom it has his name and 64'. Can anyone tell me about this one? Thank you.

I have a copy that has a hole in it, but it has all of the pieces still attatched, with a few scratches, but again, easily repaired. On the back of the painting is a piece of paper that says 'An American Masterpiece By Aaron Brothers of California, 900-205' What's that mean?

I have a "Serenity" painting by Paul Detlefsen. At the bottom it has his name and '64. Also, on the back it has a paper that says An American Masterpiece by Aaron Brothers of California with the number 6145-205.

I have the picture of the horse and the carriage. It is 5 feet wide and 3 feet high. Do you have an idea of it's value? I'll appreciate your response. I'm not sure whether it's an original or not.

Last year I understand that some bombastic fellow was asking over $600, 000 for an "original" painting of Detlefsen's… anybody else ever hear of a price like that for this rather maudlin illustrator?
