Hey There!
I am trying to find a painting for a final school project. It is an old painting of a family listening intently to an old radio. It is a famous picture and it was back when the radio first came out. I thought Norman Rockwell painted it but I have searched through just about every one of his drawings and can't find it. I have also looked at Saturday Evening Post Magazine covers but I still can't find the picture.

Did you find out anything about the value?

Julien Celos. Died 1953. I have just purchased a charcoal and watercolor. Am also looking for more information on Celos. Especially current auction prices.

Chuck, where did you find death date for Julien Celos. I have the same print of village and two arches over the river and paid $22. Another very similar was signed in pencil # 304 with what seems to be "after Alf Van Neste (if only I could read the name scribbled". Any information on that either?

I too have a print by "Aften Julien Celos" that belonged to my grandmother. She bought it in Montana in the late 40's or early 50's. There is one woman (seems like they are in a lot of his paintings) in dk grey with a white hat. Looks like it could have been done on the same day in the same town! Gray sky, water in the streets. Yellow buildings with red/orange roofs. It's signed in pencil and numbered 116 on the right. Doesn't say how many prints there were, only print #.
Would like to find more information on him, too.

I also have a drawing of Celos like described above. Bought it in the Netherlands. In the left bottom corner is written # 110. In the right top-corner there is written 'edite rar georges petite - paris novembre 1?'. Signed at the bottom by Julien Clos.

The world is amazing sometimes. I bought a Celos print at the local flea for $40 knowing nothing about him. It measures 12" by 14", #311 of?, And is of an wonderfully disorted evocative building with an arch through which one can see another building with another arch and yet another little building beyond that. It is a seductive piece.

To whom it may concern: I have a french etching that is labeled on the back "after Alf Van Neste and is also signed #304 in pencil on the front. I bought it a garage sale for $3.00 and it seems there are quite a few of these around.

I have a picture similar to others mentioned.
Is there any information available?

Tall high pitched homes, in the middle two
Very slender trees, on the right, several
Homes connected. Lovely rust, greays, and
Greens. Beautiful picture. Any idea of
It's worth? I only paid penny's for it.

I have 2 watercolor paintings by Julien Celos, acquired from a deceased relative. Both are street scenes, the predominant color is rust. I'd also like information.

Jim Weaver numbered 166 in the lower left and signed Julien Celos. I also acquired it from a
Deceased relative.

Must be the same deceased relative, because I can't find anything on this artist either.

I also have two prints by Julien Celof, one is numbered 59 and the other is E.303/350. They are both European street scenes in predominantly browns and rusts with arched buildings. They have been in my family for nearly 70 years. Does anyone know if they have any value?

I, too, have a print by this artist. It's has a 2 on it. It's a European, Dutch-type scene. It's a scene with the people, wholook Dutch, are holding umbrellas. I would like to know more about this artist.

I have a print of Julien Celof similar to the one you have described, european villiage scene in rusts and browns. #283 I have no information on him either.

Just this morning, I found a Robert Wood October Morn print for sale on an Art Auction site. This person was asking $7.50 for his.

I have a Robert Wood #56 paining that was given to me. It is a landscape painting, there is a river that runs through the middle of a lot of trees in the fall. I was wondering if you could help me on finding what this painting is worth.

I too have a print called "October Morn" signed and dated "56" in the right hand corner. Though mine measures 18" by 26". Like you I have been searching for information on the artist and the painting. Should you be fortunate to obtain any information, would you kindly pass it on to me. Thanks.
