Hi,
I ahve the same etching. I bought it in an antique store in 1975 and it was over $300.
So, I', m assuming it is worth at least 500-600- today. I've been researching on the web too, and haven't found any information.
How much was yours?

I, too, am curious about Julien Celos. I have two pictures (but I don't know the titles). Both are landscapes. One has a river on the left with European style buildings on the right with the water right up to the buildings as in Venice. The other shows two people facing each other on the rightwith European style buildings, that dwarf them, on the left. I purchased them at an estate sale because they are so attractive. The woman who sold them said they might have some value but I know very little about them.

I bought a small Celos at a public auction and love it. Do not know anything about value. Mine is of houses on a street. shows a picture of Celos and gives a little information.

I have a print of a street corner. The penicl signature looks like "Apies Julien Celos". What would the Apies mean. It also says "Publ. by E. J. Mfg. N. Y. #18". Is this signature of Celos real or put on by the publisher?

It probably reads "Apres Julien Celos" (French), which would mean it is a print or etch based on a work of Julien Celos.

I have the "Village Flamant" #116.
Just uncovered this in the basement. It has been in my family since 1955. Did you ever find a value?

I have one also - May be the same one. My grandfather - who would be in his 70's if alive, bought it for his mother. I am guessing it was in the early 50's. Mine is in a gold frame with a mat with red and green lines on it. I am pretty sure he bought it framed from a department store, because I recognized the store name on a sticker on the back. Tonight I took it out of the frame to see if it was really art. No idea of the value. Have you found anything out?
