I have two oil paintings by Nelly Dax that were commissioned by my Great Aunt T in the 1920s in Paris. I am looking for information about them right now. Have you found anything?

Female artist from France - but no other infomation. Anyone gotten appraisals?

I also have a Nelly Dax that I inherited. My Grandmother wrote on the back. Paid $100.00 French artist, Born in 1928 in Le Havre. Studied art in France and Italy. She now resides in Paris, where she has exhibited her paintings very succesfully.

I would guess she bought it in the early 50's.
