MESSAGE BOARD

I have a picture done by Paul Detlefsen. I was wondering if anyone has any information on when it was published? I'm suspecting by the clothing and how old the frame is between 30's and 40's. The picture scene is that of summer time, a barn in the back ground an older man getting a log ready to split. A boy and girl down by a pond. The boy is holding a baby chick and there is a dog looking ready to jump after a duck. Very cute scene. (Does make you wish you where there!)Bottom left is his signature. This is an oil painting, looks to be canvas. I haven't taken the picture out of the frame. I'm too afraid I would ruien the old cardboard backing. Anyone with any information or a website related to history in his paintings would help. Thank you!

Just found this site, I also just came across a painting by Paul Detlefsen, it is horse and buggy days it is signed and number anyone where can I find out anything about this painting?
